The Partnership for an Advanced Computing Environment (PACE) is excited to release a new website (www.pace.gatech.edu) to better serve the Georgia Tech research community.

PACE is a partnership between Georgia Tech faculty and the Office of Information Technology focused on High Performance Computing (HPC).  Strong support from Georgia Tech’s senior leadership enables PACE to provide infrastructure, software, and dedicated technical services for participating researchers, allowing them to focus their HPC investments primarily on compute nodes and expanded storage.  In addition, all GT faculty can request access to the FoRCE Research Computing Environment which is a shared cluster that includes nodes, GPU’s, and high-speed scratch storage.  PACE provides faculty participants with a sustainable, leading-edge HPC infrastructure with technical support services. Thus allowing faculty to focus on research while reducing their direct cost for HPC equipment.

With these new efforts, PACE has launched a revamped web site aimed toward providing:

  • More technical information for current and future HPC users at Georgia Tech.
  • Detailed information for faculty/departments on how they can participate in the Partnership
  • General information for everyone on the HPC efforts and progress at Tech.

For more details about how to be a part of PACE, please read more about how you can participate.
